Record Store Day 2012
Record Store Day is becoming a bit of an annual institution, with tangibly more and more artists getting involved each year wether it be through exclusive releases or in-store performances on the day.
There was a huge amount happening in Glasgow with some stellar acts playing in various locations throughout the day. Last year I was all over the place and ended up not seeing that much. This year, I stayed, for the most part, up at Love Music. Some great acts playing from White Heath making a slightly unusual electro racket that they assured wasn't a permanent change in direction through to Admiral Fallow who as expected had the place totally rammed.
This is Stuart Doogan of French Wives performing in an equally packed store a fortnight ahead of the release of their debut album 'Dream of the Inbetween' on Electric Honey records.
I'm sure there will still be plenty of Record Store Exclusives taking up shelf space in some local shops so get down for a look and free yourself of some of that cash burning a hole in your pocket!
