Barrie James

Last year I spent a couple of days in the studio with Barrie James (formerly Kassidy) with a view to creating some artwork for his new album Strange Desire.

The brief was very open and we spent a lot of time playing with various ideas and iterating on what we were saying. It was a lot of fun (as it always ends up being when we’ve got time and open minds) and I’m really happy with the set of images we created.

The shot at the top of this post ended up being the album cover. Some of the others have been used for various press in support of the album. Some, inevitably ended up on the cutting floor. These are some of my favourites from the sessions.
